Q; A gaggle of 8th grade boys are looking for fantasy or science fiction to read. They are really good readers.What would you reccomend and why?









A:I would recommend fun reads like chapter books that are actually fantasy's.For example theres a good book that almost everybody knows thats titled "WINNIE THE POOH".I read it once and its really nice.Its about a bear named ''Winnie the pooh" who has a bunch of friends. The book has alot of little stories of situations Winnie The Pooh had to go through but he always found a happy solution.

The History Of Saint Valentines

O EM GEE!!!! Valentine is almost here!!! The day of love and friendship.Bu most people focus on the day and not the meaning.The history of Saint Valentines is that he was a priest.He was a priest from Rome. His name was Saint Valentine.He married young couples against the wish of the emperor. He was beheaded for his own deeds on February the 14th.Everyone see Valentines day as some day were you give out flowers ,teddy bears, ect.But the truth is that no one sees the history behind all the Special days.

Q: A 6th grade math teacher wants to give her students some math puzzles,riddles, ect for extra credit. Where can she find some? What is the call number for math books in the nonfiction section?



A: Maybe she can go to the schools library catalog and search the books she needs there.
Type in the word math books and puzzles.Right the number down of the call number of the book and look for it.

Tears

Tears are something that your eyes produce hen your sad,nervous, or even happy! Most of the people tend to cry when they are sad. Others because there happy or mad. Tears are a signal when your sad. But also when your mad. People think that you always cry because your sad or get in trouble. But the truth is you are the only one that know!!!

A: I would reccomend AP Images because it has alot of pictures from all times and anything!!!

Q: A 6th grade boy asks you to recommend funny books. He is a pretty good reader, but doesn't want anything to long.Name three books you would recommend and explain why?



A: I would recommend The Diary Of The Wimpy Kid because its a funny and comic books and its also AR. I would also recommend Wayside School Is Falling Down because it is a funny and a short book. Lastly I would recommend Theres A Boy In The Girls Bathroom because it is a funny book and intresting to read.

Q: An 8th grade girl asks you where t0 find books that are fiction but are written like diaries.Name 3 titles that you would recommend to her and explain HOW you would find them.

A: I would go on the library catalog and type the word "funny" and click on search.Another way that I found them was by the books that I read and thought were funny.

Broken Friendship

Some friends are true while others are just with you for your stuff. Some friends aren't always forever. There are sime types of friends that don't have your back. I know my friends have my back and I will always have theres. You never know if someone is faking to be your friend and when you least expect it they betray you. You feel bad because you told them your deepest secrets. But now you know that you can't really trust some of your friends.

Love

Love is something that people say is wonderful. But love wouldn't be love if it didn't hurt. Love can hurt if you are in love with someone who likes someone else. People can end up heart broken from a love story that might of happen to them. It is sad but some people can get over it but others simply are to hurt that they dont believe in love again.

Q: Imagine that a library patron tells you that she needs to learn about how and why the Ancient Egyptians made mummies out of there dead.



A: One source that I would be able to help the patron with is the digital library. A source that she could use in the digitable library is britannica. Since there are 3 levels to choose from I would aks her for her grade. Then we would choose what level is right for her. Another source is books base don that topic. One last source might be the internet. A website like www.wikipedia.org.

Pets

Pets are wonderful. They are like a best friend to you. They are who you can tell your secrets to.There are so many types of pets. There are birds,dogs,cats, and many more. Peple have pets but there are some people who don't.My favorite type of pet is a puppy or a cat. Before I used to hace a kitty but then we had to gave it away because my little sister was diagnosed with asthma so my parents said that we had to give it away. I felt sad because we had been together for about 3 years!

Science or Socal Studies Project

Well once I had a project about a volcano and it turned out to be a hard situation. I had gone to the school, library but all the books on volcanoes had been checked out already. What I to get the information was went online and got some useful information that helped me. It turnded out ot be a very hard situation in the part to get information.

I think I would go online and look for an answer. If that doesnt work my 2nd choice is ask one of my friends. If nothing works at the 3rd try I give up. I give up because I get fustrated beacause I can't find an answer.

Vications!!!

Well my vacations where the best!!!I spent sometime at my aunties,went to the beach, and had fun. My favorite part was when I went shopping for school stuff and when I went to the beach. I had fun playing and talking with my cousins. We played with her baby puppy.I also liked talking on the phone with my friends from school.I enjoyed my vacations alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer Day's

These summer day's have been so hot!!!They make you want to go to the beach.If I would want to refresh I would go to a pool and chill out.Or have a fun water balloon fight.Some people do go to the beach.In my opinion I wouldn't go to the beach because you get sunburn really bad if you don't put sunblock.But you still get burn if you don't put bothing on.

Chasing Yesterday Series

Chasing Yesterday is a wonderful series.There are 3 books in this series.Book 1 is titled Awakening, the second one is Betrayal, and the last one is Truth. They are all good books.They are about a girl who has no past because she can't remember anything that happened before.She was in a huge explosion and lost her mind.She is trying to get answers to get clues to her past.But does she have a past?

Twilight Review

Twilight was a great movie I saw it whenit came out.I read the books too.Twilight was about Bella & Edward.Edward is a vampire and Bella is a human.They fall in love and Edward has to reveal his secret to Bella.She is impressed but not scared because she has trust in him that he will not hurt her.There are villians to James,Victoria,&Lauren.They all are like clan but james wants Bellas bllod so badly.Victoria and James are soul mates.James tries to get Bella.Will he be ab;e to reach her.

Lessons From A Dead Girl Review

Wow!!!This book was awesome!Lessons From A Dead Girl was about two best friends.The popular girl and the kinda popular girl.They were best friends until the popular girl started to do wierd things.She was supposly perfect to everyone an idol to follow.Every girl in the school would wish to be called by her.The unpopular girl started to see that the popular girl was starting to do things to her.But she couldn't say nothing because she knew that she would loose the fight.Until she find true friends!!!

Movie Review Of The Ophan

The movie The Orphan was a great movie.=]!!!!!!It's about a girl who is adopted by this family who has 2 kids already.A little girl,Max, & a boy named Daniel.Max is deaf.Her mother had lost a baby and couldn't get over it so she had to adopt a child.The adopted girl is named Ester.She is from Russia.She draws like a proffesional.The family seems very happy until sister Abigail,the one in charge of the orphanage,tells that couple that she has problems.Want to find out more, wacth the movie.
